THE CONCEPT of Lovely Sweden is based upon an old idea - "There should indeed be a place for international visitors to explore, and get guidance to Swedish pop music". The idea is still of great importance and so is this temporary webpage.

THE FIRST WEB-BASED HOME of Lovely Sweden will contain several essential features to fulfill the purpose of the original idea. First of all the webpage will mainly be focused on guidance. To take care of international guests (without excluding any Swedish dittos) and to show them what's so interesting about Swedish music is our main goal. Lovely Sweden will provide information on where to start; where to go next; what to buy/download/watch; whom to contact, and so on.

THE FIRST THING we will do is to gather the essence of Swedish pop music on a compilation CD. Only the best artists will contribute and the compilation will function as a proof of what we mean with the importance of the spreading of Swedish music. One could also see the compilation as an introduction or teaser to all the other great stuff that will be presented on the webpage.

RELEASE DATE for the CD is estimated to early Q2 of 2007. By that time, hopefully, the webpage will be up and running as well.
